Nature/Nurture (2008)

Video art combined with audio of my late grandfather Monroe Walter Klaus (who was also an artist and major inspiration in my childhood) reciting his poetry, set to an original musical composition by my band A is for Accident.   Evocative of the sense-memory response of early sexual experiences and the echos of possible sexual abuse. Elegiac and mournful in tone, i seek to illustrate how these fragments form a space inside one, a world of flesh and ephemera.
